Four residents of Central Park Zoo in New York City, Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo and Melman the Giraffe have lived their lives in bliss…up until now!
When Marty disappears, Alex, Gloria and Melman decide to break out in search of their friend. Eventually all four friends are captured and shipped off to Africa. That is until they become shipwrecked on the exotic island of Madagascar. Now the native New Yorkers must try and survive in what they have never known…THE WILD!
As you are about to discover, the adventure can’t begin until the 3 friends have escaped from the Zoo. And that will be a feat in itself.
